A Platform for simulation of multi-cellular systems
TSim was originally developed to study
the mechanisms underlying the growth of tumors. Unlike other simulation
tools available by the time, TSim simulations work on three different
levels: intra-cellular metabolism, inter-cellular interactions and
diffusion of gases and other species in the extra-cellular environment.
TSim allows real-time simulation with
both qualitative and quantitative data.
The Slot Editor Interface allows for the modification of parameters of
the system during simulation
